"Music Together^®" Mixed-age Family Class (for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, ages birth through 5 years) 

Class Description: Our mixed-age family class features guitar-led singing, movement, and group instrument play.  Join "Miss" Cheryl and her guitar for tons of musical fun each week, where children and their grown-ups enjoy a variety of easy-to-play musical props and instruments (i.e. egg shakers, scarves, bells, drums, parachute, etc.). throughout every class.  All instruments provided.

Materials Included:   Every family receives our winter 2026 "Music Together" song collection, "Sticks", as a fully illustrated picture songbook w/ digital download code, and bonus format CD.  Fun for the whole family, each "Music Together" song collection features a delightful mix of children's folksongs you already love, plus original music in a variety of genres, and, multicultural Family Favorites^® from around the world.  

Winter Class Schedule for "Music Together" Mixed-age Family classes (Babies/ Toddlers/ Preschoolers):

Agoura Hills  (New Hope Lutheran Church):  Mondays at 10am (indoors), Tuesdays at 9:30am (indoors), Thursdays at 9:30am (covered patio class), Thursdays at 3:30pm (indoors), and Thursdays at 4:30pm (indoors), Fridays at 11:30am (indoors).

Woodland Hills ("Woodland Hills Backyard"):  Tuesdays at 4pm (outdoor class)

West Hills ("Ha Makom" Synagogue:  Mondays at 4pm (indoors)

Tarzana (2 class locations:  Tarzana Community and Cultural Center; AND, "Tarzana Backyard") 1.  Fridays at 9:30am at Tarzana Community and Cultural Center (outdoor class).  2.  "Tarzana Backyard" Sundays at 9:30am (outdoor class)

"Rhythm Kids^®" (ages K/1st/2nd grade, 5-7 yrs.)

Class Description:  For older children (ages 5 yrs. -7 yrs) we offer "Rhythm Kids^®", featuring hand-drumming, singing, dancing, musical games, and songs songs from around the world.  Children will experience the joy of playing in an ensemble in this highly interactive, creative, and social music-making experience.  

Instruments:  Djembe drums (beautiful tone, fun and easy to play!) as well as other percussive instruments are provided to everyone during every class meeting.  (No need to purchase instruments.). No previous drumming experience needed.  

Materials:  Each family receives our winter 2026 "Rhythm Kids^®" song collection, "Elephant", as a songbook w/ digital download code and bonus format CD.

Winter 2026 Class Schedule for "Rhythm Kids^®":

Agoura Hills (New Hope Lutheran Church):  9-class series, Wednesdays at 3:30pm (outdoor class on covered patio, with indoor option for any rainy days.)

Private Class-Series Option:  Form Your Own Group

Private Pod "Music Together" (mixed-age family class): Assemble your own group of 5 or more families for a private "pod" version of our traditional mixed-age family class (babies/toddlers/preschooers, ages birth through 5 years, + caregiver).  Private pod classes can be held in a private home, or, a class member's yard, or, privately accessed park, clubhouse. (No public parks as meeting location.)  Please contact Cheryl (asap) to arrange.
